MIDWEST THEATER FILM FESTIVAL
This year’s Midwest Theater Film Festival MidwestTheaterFilmFestival - will be held at the Historic Midwest Theater, this will be the third year of the festival. The festival will run from October 12th to 13th, 2007. Nebraska artists and film makers will take center stage once again; there will be presentations from several people associated with the movie industry. This year’s will also include projects from rural America. The festival will be an occasion to commemorate Nebraska in film. The program will include a selection of short films from the Rural Route Film Festival also held in 2007.
Midwest Theater Film Festival was started to showcase works that deals with rural places and people in America. Some of the short films to be featured in this year’s event will be shown in other cities and small towns the world-over. The festival will treat audiences to a more assorted array of film such as documentaries, short films and experimental genres. The festival is a great place to experience movies unlike those made in Hollywood.
Food and Socializing will also be part of the weekend. There will be receptions in the theater on Friday and Saturday evening.
